If you ever wonder why players leave or new players don't bother finishing the tutorial before they move on to another game, try watching crossevents with no ignore or moderation in place for a few hours.
while older players have little excuse for not using ignore and report, new players have no idea in the first hour of gameplay that such an option exists. making people ignore mass amounts of players is not the answer.
to truly put an end to trolling if not manned by volunteer gamers or paid employees then a system needs to be devised which tracks keywords and sends them flagged to the GMs to review so the system isn't dependent on players to do what most of them consider to be the jobs of the GMs.
this is something that @ocho really needs to put some consideration into when players can troll myself with homosexual hate speech, which i am happily heterosexual and find it offensive to be non PC to the homosexual community with a sister who happens to be of that community.
or the rage in general made towards players with less knowledge as a new player may be made to feel unwelcome in a game that they fall several years behind the learning curve in.
I have personally chatlogged hours of hate filled chat but have no idea how I would go about submitting any of it to be considered or taken seriously as it would take some time to filter through most of it since chat logging grabs everything in every tab you have any form of message in
I ask again @ocho , pls help us save this game!
