I few more questions

My friend and I were active in storm legion and want to return but before we get too invested we wanted to have a few things answered.

1. The only real reason why wer rejoining is because the raiding in 2.0 was great, it was fun it was intricate and it always felt rewarding, even on 8 hour progression runs. How does that compare to 3.0 raiding?

2. As a rogue I know I might have to end up buying the souls but am still viable without them, my friend is a cleric can anyone let me know how necessary the souls are for his classes?

3. Guilds. When i left guilds seemed to be kind of weak, my guide who was t2 raiding before i left often had to bug a few people or work with other guilds to get the right numbers. What are the conditions of the guilds now?
