PvP a couple of thoughts and some questions

I read with some interest the forum posts in @Devs @Ocho @Brasse

In there I saw this quote:

“whats a fresh 65 with no gear doing in a wf? getting gear maybe?

they shouldnt be there in the 1st place. and game itself should prevent them from joining.”

This sentiment is a common statement made by a few people in the forums whenever newer players are mentioned.

This led me to think about new PvP players, preparation and what they should know. I read many forum posts complaining about the gear inequality and up/downbolstering:

There have even been a few who have put together guides to help newcomers including but not limited to:

But even with these guides, making the right choice is not always easy.

I can tell you as a returning player who should be considered new, a noob, perhaps even a bit slow. I am still confused as to what is expected of a new player who wants to get into PvP. There are many contradictory comments, for example I was once told

“Gear Up by getting Dreambreaker Gear”

Yet then read,

“One mistake that newer players commonly make is to use Dreambreaker pieces right off the bat. Endurance heavy dreambreaker pieces are actually usually inferior to upbolstered pieces.”
So I will pose a few questions which hopefully will not be considered too controversial.

What should a new lvl 65 player have before stepping into a level 65 Warfront Pug:

1. How much Hit do you need?
2. How much Health HP do you need?
3. How much Crit Power do you need?
4. And for the love of Pete, assuming No Dreambreaker Gear and No raiding gear, exactly what gear should someone have?

Is it true that

“The easiest and fastest sources of gear for this purpose are the Rust Bucket 2 achievement, the Shadow from Beyond chronicle, and crafting.”
Or is raid gear mandatory to PvP? or is the case the new players simply need not even try PvP?

I am sure I missed something but that is the end of my comments and questions for now, thank you for your constructive comments and answers..
