need some help

i wasn't even sure what to title this thread but i got my net fixed first game i wanted to play was rift got in game felt good to be honest i got back into the groove of things and started farming mats for upgrading runes and 1 thing i need is opaque rune amenders ok fine i get the mats i post in chat for someone to make me one i guy whispered me (not gonna say names because im not sure if that's even allowed in forums here) anyway he sent me a party invite asked me to meet him at sanctum i go to sanctum and hand him the mats and a tip next thing i know before i could blink poof he was disconnected and gone and never came back so i filled out a ticket hopeing maybe i will get my mats back and action will be taken on his account i dont know maybe a gm can shed some light because now i feel like i cant even play this game anymore after that happening because ive never even heard of such a thing happening in a mmo before atleast ive never experienced it until now im just curious what peoples opinions are because people in xevent chat thought it was funny to call me a liar
