I'll post one pf my shower thoughts in the hopes of starting some decent discussion: Each zone has a multitude of 'onslaught' locations in which players can charge up turrets and defend against PvE onslaughts. On Seastone, these should be re-purposed to PvP. Specifically, guild-based PvP. Place a large circular zone in the middle of the 'onslaught' zone (lets call it a Pad): player(s) from a guild can gain control of that onslaught zone by standing on the Pad for a minute. Control of such an onslaught zone would reward the active members of the controlling guild a certain amount of Favour and Platinum every 10 minutes. Edit: *******, typo on the title.

Interesting idea, could be fun if done well, has some limitations (specifically applies to 2 shards and only for guilds on those shards, mitigated by shard swapping). So something like this would take a fair amount of dev work. And anytime something takes lots of work its got some pretty stiff competition. Will investing that same time bring more or less benefit to players, and how many players will it bring that benefit to? Would spending that same amount of time in Warfronts and/or Conquest impact more or less folks? How about a revamp of a PvP related system? Which devs does it require, and what else are they tasked with? How much testing time will this take? All this combines to make something like this a bit harder to justify. It's open world PvP content (limited subsection of potentially interested players), it requires a ton of work from content designers, systems desigers, engineers, and probably ui design. Is there something that we could do with all that time that would make you happier?
