If you're interested in exploring and questing, the game is really great IMO. A few months ago I started a new toon, just to re-visit all the old zones, read the old quests, and I had a lot of fun doing so.
Crafting is as always; a few good recipes, the others just sit in your book and collect dust. You cannot craft anything close to end game equip.
As all zones (even the current Nightmare Tide ones) are free, I would suggest you just download the client, and start playing. This is the easiest way to learn if you still like the game.
