All chat channels on Typhiria for EU clients, useless event ann. for chars@Brutwacht

Being a German player, playing a client set up with German language, I also have my characters on the German shard "Brutwacht". So I would expect chat channels to be located on Brutwacht too, and Zone Event Announcements be related to the shard Brutwacht as well.

But that's wrong. They are all related to Typhiria instead.

So I tried to create a macro which would leave all shard-specific channels (means, channels 4-9), and then re-enter then on Brutwacht.

I read messages that I left the channels and joined the channels. But they are on Typhiria again.

Using the English chat commands (verlassen = leave; beitreten = join) makes no difference. Executing them with slash as direct commands in the chat window doesn't make a difference either.

So my "General" chat tab notifies me about zone events on a shard I don't usually play on. How useless...

At least the chat still seems to happen on Brutwacht, according to the German language I usually read.

So what can I do to get event announcements for Brutwacht instead?
