Elementalist Full Heal in PvP

So lately in WFs I've been seeing a lot of mages run Elementalist. It does great damage, and I see players who are less geared than me pull off slightly more damage than me as a range spec. This is no problem, as I don't know how overtuned/undertuned it really is or how it plays.

However, in addition to being pretty strong as a ranged spec, it has a full heal, which in addition to their pet, adds just about 2 additional health pools that you have to deal with, on top of the 40k self-heal trinket if they happen to have it. Even Ranger isn't this stupidly OP with Diffuse.

I was wondering if it was intended for mages to be able to have the full heal in PvP, instead of having reductions like other classes with self-healing abilities like Nightblade, which has been reduced significantly, as with Warlord's No Permission to Die.

This has been pretty frustrating over the week to see an Elementalist revive at 100% health from an objective that was supposed to kill the player or simply from any other player that had the kill.

It's also worse with Mages playing Frostkeeper, which is still overtuned in PvP.

Is there going to be a fix to this, or do we have to kill their pet every time we see an Elementalist in a WF?

Also, playing a mage or a warrior seems to be the rage nowadays. Can rogues and clerics get some love too?
