The former Rift App was finally discontinued for a bunch of reasons not all too long ago. Why should they try again after falling flat on their face with annoying (cr)app that never worked as intended? In fact the resulting event-tracker websites out there (even the worst!) work far better than the Rift app ever did.

The player base diminished even more since then; at the same time possible to-use additions like Minions were turned into wallet warrior milking devices. If you want an app to throw credits at, play Candy Crush Saga.
