It's so hard to follow the story now a days with this game anymore. lolTrion, like EVERY other MMO company that makes raids, put vital plot and/or conclusions in raids, and if you're not a raider, you'll probably never know what's going on.

To make a new raid means that budget has been set aside for new world art, new character models, music, money to hire actors to come in and voice things. Time an effort from lots of teams to make a new experience. Or at the very least put a new spin or a twist on an old experience. This are all ingredients that allow us to tell a great story.We know that everyone doesn't raid. So we could just make these things very story light, and not take advantage of these resources so that no one would miss anything. But that just seems foolish. We miss out on taking advantage of valuable resources to tie together all the wacky events that happen in the game. Also raids are hard to make, so when we are done, we'd like you to want to go into them. We know that not everyone can, people have families, strange schedules, and this kind of coordinated combat isn't everyone's cup of tea. But we want you to want to give it a try.So we make a real effort to expose players to our raids. The latest one "Comet of Ahnket" was beautiful, and featured a pretty extensive VO script for some new characters. But more than that is that we made an attempt to make it more accessible to players that weren't in the top tier raiding guilds. Further we've make a real effort to take the experience and story of the raids and make it completely accessible to all players as an Intrepid Adventure. Further we've add more content, more VO, more story to these so we can really highlight the lore of these experiences, withouth getting in the way of you murder hobos Ascended heroes and your adventure.So TL;DR we'd like to get you to try raiding, we think we have some fun ones and want to make it worth your while in ways other than just equipment upgrades. But if you just can't, we work hard to let you know what you have missed.
