Trying to get raid ready, need suggestions.

So I recently came back to the game and am only interested in end-game raiding. I've managed to get to 900 hit crafted gear and auction house purchases. I'm trying to find a raid slot but no one is interested in someone with under 1100 hit.

Now I've stagnated. The rate at which I'm getting marks for raid 1 gear is excruciating slow, and I'm currently on pace for a SINGLE piece of gear in 1 month of non-stop grinding of NME's. None of the gear I am seeing drop in the NME's is even close to an upgrade.

Is there another avenue for gear improvement? There is no way I'm going to last grinding the same few NME's non-stop for ~11000 marks per piece of T1 raid gear, I'm already burned out with them.

I've opened several of the cache's (forget the name) and only received 1 slightly better upgrade for one of my essences (no increase in +hit).

Seems the time investment for this game is far greater than what I'm looking for.
