Proving or disproving a rumor - DEV_Anony

I'm gonna ask about one of the elephants in the room.

Point blank, was Dev_Anony fired this friday or is this a big rumor? I hear people say he was, but I don't see anything official. I'm not trying to start a storm. I'd just like to provide an opportunity to state fact. Put out the information and lock the thread if it will become too volatile, but it's an important topic, even if it's touchy.

And if he was let go for whatever reason, who will be replacing him?

Please, no smack talk about this and that. I'm just trying to get important information about the future of Rift, not be part of a war.
