Matchmaking mechanic is broken

I have got to experience this first hand. Six losses in a row, rather lopsided. I am told that logging in and out can sometimes reset the matchmaking feature. I just usually play to the charges are extinguished, but it is frustrating not even being able to win one match.

I can see why players do nothing in a w/f until they get a win. If you have time on your hand and drop 50 in a row, I assume your ELO will drop to zero. Come back in a month and play. The problem is it doesn't matter in RIFT if you ELO is 100 or 3000. You can still lose continuously. You cannot sandbag in RIFT and drop down to a level where you start to win again, because the competition never seems to change. You will see the same people no matter what. Too small a pool with not enough players participating is my best guess.

Anyways, it seems we are back to PM's vs canon fodder again.
