You know, I reinstalled this piece of crap launcher yesterday since I could no longer update RIFT without it as I have been for over a year. I was running and updating RIFT just fine with the old launcher until last week specifically because of issues like this, and because I'm not interested in any other Trion games.
Why the hell does Glyph need to update ALL. THE. TIME. ??? WHY???
The only reason I reinstalled it yesterday was because y'all said that multicore support would provide fps increases of 50%, and fps issues were one of the big reasons I quit playing much so I thought I'd check it out. Honestly, I didn't see that much of an increase except in intermittent spikes, and if you people can't figure out how to program a launcher so that it doesn't need to update itself every other day, I'll just uninstall the whole shebang and be done with it.
Could you limit Glyph update frequency? PLEASE?
