Can something be done about the random combat? Interrupting gameplay.

I just missed my queue with my warfront buddy because of the random combat bug. Normally its just annoying, but i was in combat with nothing for over a whole minute making me miss my queue. This is beyond a minor annoyance, is there anything that can be done about this? thanks.
