Thanks for the report, and apologies for the confusion. There's definitely a bug causing the Welcome Window to not display the full duration for the Essentials Edition. The time you're seeing in the Feature Pane of the RIFT Store is the accurate one. We'll get this cleaned up shortly, thanks!

Don't know about water balloons, but he does make a great target for nerf guns
