Take a look at the screenshot below. The top two items is how stacks of items appear in Rift right now. On many items the number is near impossible to see and these aren't even the worst items I have seen. The bottom images depict a very simple fix to make the numbers easily readable. Surely we can all agree this is a reasonable request that may even save someone's eyesight...probably mine. I humbly request this change be made...before I go completely blind.
