FPS Drop from Last Patch to 6/29 patch

I don't know what you all did but the patch before the 6/29 patch SLI scaling was better. Granted I only logged into Meridian to claim my daily and weekly gifts but I was sitting at 100 FPS idle in town where the grate is. Compare this to the 6/29 patch where I am now getting 70 FPS idle. I know us SLI users are a small population but I was ecstatic getting those kind of frames.

Also the SLI profile is broken in regards to shadows. Using the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SLI bits fixes this and it seems like the scaling is the same at least on the 6/29 patch.

Kalert Bugged After Hotfix?

After the patch suddenly my kalerts with "Target" in them don't work. I've tried reinstalling it, recreating the kalerts, copying, deleting, changing targeting, nothing seems to work. Sometimes changing the settings (like switching from active to missing) will make it show up, so it registers the ability, it's just not working in the way I want it to or it used to. The kalerts I've noticed not working anymore so far (warrior and cleric):

Target + Foe + Active (with timer):
- Corroded Defense
- Curse of Frailty/Consumption
- Insignia of Protection
- Spotter's Call
- Twin Cuts
- Seal of Pain
- Seal of Enhancement
- Seal of Vulnerability

Target + Friend + Active (with timer):
- Hideous Reconstruction
- Link of Agony/Despair/etc.
- Stand Tall!
- Excellent Strike!
- Don't Give Up!
- We Are Unbowed!

I have not the slightest clue why only these just flat out don't work now :/

Suggestion: Grey Building Blocks

Hi, I'd like to suggest a name change for the new Grey Wood building blocks, since we have a Greywood already it may cause some confusion in searching and especially in chat with other players, how about something like Ash Wood, or Slate Wood, or Silver Wood instead?

I've tested nearly all the dimension items and couldn't find anything that hasn't already been reported in.

Suggestion: Grey Building Blocks

Thinking of returning but have a question about Warfronts

We left Rift a couple of years ago because of one reason really: bots in warfronts. Talking 1 group, 1 person, 1 class killing you in 1 shot. Was driving us crazy. So after dealing with that awhile we say screw it and left. Is this still a thing? No sense in coming back if I am just going to get aggravated again.

Considerng that posts seem to get more atention and replies here than under the Dungeons & Raids section, i decided to post this here this time around. The steps to get rid of bloodiron (and as side effect other normal shards) from the instance ecreation list some weeks ago was a step in right direction for getting rid of the pvp bug.

But could we please get at least one new insatnce/raid only shard for the EU cluster. The reason i'm asking this is that the lags and ability delays in raids are still getting worse and worse. And putting all the instances (not sure if only raids) on just 2 servers seems be making these even worse.

Tonight we're happily having fun with Hericius on Kahail, and for the 1st half of the raid, both players and boss are having ability delays and lags. And its not funny when this is happening over and over and ofc making us wipe it. Like hericius casts his wave cast and wave decided to take a little break and come a few sec later and so on.

Asuming that a fresh shard (or more) might help aleviate these issues, is it possible to create them? If however these ability lags and delays are not a cosequence of overcowrded shards, then the problem, where ever it may lie is getting worse and worse on its on and should be about time to try and get it onder controll untill it gets even worse.

1st Anniversary Recap & Celebration

Hello everyone,

<Skins on Farm> is heading to its first anniversary and I want to celebrate that with you and also give you some insight about the history of the project and where we are heading!

The first year of our journey

In late summer 2015 some in-game friends and I started to regularly organize some old raids to unlock the epic appearances for our wardrobe collection. While the interest in those raids and the related wardrobe skins was high, it was not possible to trade them cross shard, so people from other shards would not get them unlocked. That’s when we started to use the old transfiguration baubles to make the awesome weapon appearances tradable and therefore available for everyone who participated in our raids. Soon other people who didn’t raid with us got interested in those skins too and asked if they could pay a bit of plat to unlock them for their collection. They also asked for lots of other skins they desired. We saw that there were tons of players who wanted to get all the cool skins in game, but it requires a lot time and effort to do it if you do it solo. So we decided to offer a service - we farm the skins, make them tradable and offer them to the community.

We decided to found a guild for that service, as the guild vaults offered us an easy way to store the tradable copies and make them available to our members. We decided to name the guild <Skins on Farm>, as an homage to my co-founders guild <Trash on Farm>. The business boomed and soon we had a lot of skins to share. But there was a big problem we were facing – Transfiguration Baubles, the items which are required to copy the appearances on tradable items, were not sold in the Rift store anymore, and we were running out of them quickly. So instead of only farming the skins on our own, we also used some of the funds we gained to buy transfigured weapons from other players. Within only two months we got more than 200 skins and 100 guild members.

In November 2015 we had a small drama when my co-founder quit the game, giving the project a little shake. But soon I got everything fixed again, ready to bring the guild to a new level. During the first months there was a lot of feedback from members and other people and based on that I made some improvements in early 2016. Placeholders were added to the vaults to make unlocking easier and new skins got announced on the guild wall with their exact placement in the vaults. After that I reworked the rank system, offering a good balance between security and flexibility. Together with that came a new price list, offering different services from buying single skins to all-inclusive memberships, so people with fewer funds could also buy the skins they desire.

Today, after almost one year of existence, we count more than 500 weapon skins and over 200 lifetime members. I am very proud to lead this project and I have a lot of fun helping our members getting the best wardrobe skins in game. I am also happy to have such awesome people in our project, who help with providing new skins and give me feedback and ideas how to improve the project. We are really connecting the EU community! Thank you everyone!

What is coming next?

The grand opening of the “Cosmic Fashion Studios”

In the last two months our Dimensioneer Malefizia (Shadana@Brutwacht) created the most awesome fashion-themed dimension for our guild. This dimension is now available to visit and will be the home of upcoming events and contests hosted by our guild. We will officially celebrate our first anniversary with a huge wardrobe contest in August, which will use the multiple sceneries of the dimension for the screenshot entries and the catwalk for the later contest stages. Stay tuned for more information about that by end of July! You can find a preview article for the dimension on the Dimension Gallery homepage.


A new guild homepage & raid planner

I am working on a new guild homepage that will include a raid planner for regular retro raids. There will be farm raids for wardrobe but also achievement hunts! Want to finish off your 500 strongholds in Dendrome? Here you go! Of course you don’t need to be a member to join our raids, everyone is welcome!

And yes, I hope this time I can finally manage to create a complete list of our skins incl. screenshots to publish it there. And a WTB list for those who want to earn some plat with their leftover Transfiguration Baubles.

Bringing the guild to a new level

Completionism is love, completionism is life? I want to make the guild a good home for high-level alts to build up an active community for retro raiders, achievement hunters and completionists. Therefore I am currently leveling up the guild to offer you the perks you desire. Of course, any help with the guild quests is appreciated. If you want to change your current character for a high-level character already, I am of course happy to do that for you at any time!

Yesterday I finally got my Fortified Ahnket Bow from the fire mini.

I immediately made a kalert to check the proc count and rate during combat, and I noticed it hardly ever procs off magical attacks, but indeed has a 100% uptime on physical attacks:
During the Fyragnos encounter, sometimes the Breath procced 1 stack of the endurance buff, but then it ran out. The drakes' breaths sometimes procced up to 3 stacks if I stood in all 3 of the cones.
On the other hand, while tanking Hericius I permanently had 5 stacks up.

Given that the description says "being damaged has a 50% chance" and not "being hit by a physical attack has a 50% chance", can it be fixed so it is more consistent, please?

Warriors and the casual player

Created to not further pollute the warlord feedback thread.

Points made so far, my opinion in parentheses:
- Paragon is hard because of lag affecting its burst. (lolno, unless you play from asia or via mobile internet. People don't have constant lag/lag spikes. rogues/shamans/harbs seem to manage just fine)
- Paragon is hard because of 1s GCD (I can understand that, legit request to want something else then)
- Viable specs with 1.5s GCD are needed for warrior casuals to compete with non-warrior casuals (... including rogues, shamans, harbs and other 1s GCD souls. Hope I got that argument right)
- That's the reason why casuals tend to play reaver. Simple and a 1.5s GCD. (and not cause it was our best spec for months and people are too lazy to learn something else even after another couple months passed since the nerf)
- Warlord changes will solve this. (Unless mechanics are involved, because if someone has problems dealing with mechanics and a simple rotation at the same time, staying in melee range will be a problem as well. Casuals will lose a lot of DPS because of this. A lot more than a "hardcore raider".)

I think the actual arguments were those that were made in this thread starting around here. If not, please correct me.

Warriors and the casual player

New BiS Seals - Summerfest

The new seals cost 3500 merit badges and 6 bracelets or 1602 credits (for Patrons).

The tanking ones currently have 231 END and 53 AP/SP, and upgrades to 261 END and 60 AP/SP with a Nightmare Ornament Amender and 3 Abyssal Crusader Accelerators.

The DPS ones have 231 main stat and 53 AP/SP, and also upgrades to 261 main stat and 60 AP/SP with a Nightmare Ornament Amender and 3 Abyssal Crusader Accelerators.

New summerfest cleric T2 weapon - costs 7000 merit badges and 12 bracelets or 11200 credits for Patrons. There doesn't appear to be weapons for any other callings yet.

There's also a new minion chain, two badges, and dimension item packs!

I'm gonna say it again

Nobody should be able to sit in stealth for an indefinite amount of time have that much power to stalk a certain player. Sit afk in stealth fingering their ******* while doing nothing but waiting for a a target they have been stalking the whole entire wf to get low. so they can pop and sucker punch.

I don't care if it has been said and I don't care if i have said it 50 times already it needs to be said again.

I'm gonna say it again

FATED TO DIE quest

I do not like the FATED TO DIE epic quest. The faded colors are hard to separate from the angels and the lag prevents me from seeing the angels in the spot where they were before. The amount is 12 to finish, but it resets every time you get resurrected.
PLEASE make it where the numbers DO NOT DIMINISH so that I can complete the quest. its very aggravating and stops being fun when you have visual problems as well as lag effecting your fun and game play.

Question regarding the whereabouts for crafting materials

Is it possible to have the locations clearly labeled on the craft items so it will take out some of the issues trying to find them? I realized this was opted for each individual fish and it helped me a tremendous amount to get as far as I have with my survival skill set. I'm unsure if someone already conducted a list. If anyone has an idea where I can find this list, will you let me know?!

Ocho: RIFT 3.7 Preview: RIFT Goes 64 Bit!

While RIFT readies for a public Beta Test of 64 Bit gameplay, RIFT’s Lead Engineer, Dan “Snedhepl” Hollinger gave us more in-depth information about this amazing engineering effort, and why it’s important to all players! Why the heck should you care about 64 bit?You may have heard with the announce of RIFT 3.7 Summer Solstice that Rift will release a 64-bit client in the near future. What you may not be aware of is the purpose, practical or otherwise, of this evolution. I'm here to cleanse that particular debuff for you. Let's talk about what 64-bit means in general. First up: what is a bit? A bit is either a 0 or 1 and in a computer we use groups of them to represent everything from colors, to your position in space, to what your abilities do. When we’re discussing a 8, 32, or 64 bit system, what we’re talking about is how many bits can the processor operate on at once. Some of the earliest game systems and computers were 8-bit. Eventually they grew to be 16-bit and in the most recent era: 32-bit. These numbers created a number of limits in their systems, most notably memory related but also in terms in the precision and size of processing. For example, in an 8-bit system, it's only possible to represent 255 different numbers. This means that a character could only exist in one of 255 positions horizontally on the screen and that we'd only be able to access 255 memory locations (assuming no fancy tricks are employed to expand that). Additionally, we'd only be able to access 255 locations in memory (RAM). That is pretty restrictive! Luckily as we increase the number of bits we get a significant amount of additional space. A 16-bit system can represent 65535 numbers! 32-bit? 4,294,267,295! 4,294,267,295 certainly seems like a lot...but is it?For modern day computers, 4,294,267,295 translates to 4 gigabytes. And while that's quite a lot of memory for many cases, it's also not enough for many modern games. There’s a lot more we can do with RIFT, or handle better, with the ability to use more memory. This includes the beautiful textures, models and other art that already exists as well as what we have planned for the future. It includes data we house in RIFT that references things like characters, abilities, friends and the like. While these things individually may not be a big deal, when taken together they very quickly add up. 64-bit would give us access to 16 exabytes (or 16 million gigabytes). Of course there's no hardware currently that would allow anyone to take full advantage of that much space. But what the conversion to 64 bit does change is that instead of being software limited to 4 gigs, instead we're only limited by how much RAM is installed into any given machine. Ok, so this means RIFT-64 will be able to use more memory, and we'll be able to add more art over time and that's all great, but what benefits will that get me today? The answer to that is quite simple and can be summed up in a single word: "stability." While RIFT typically does not use up all of its 4 gigabytes of memory, it can get to that point over longer play sessions. We've waged war on crashes for some time now; out of memory errors are the number one and two sources of crashes - and occasionally number three as well! When 64-bit comes out, the game will suddenly have access to at least 8 gigabytes of RAM in most cases (depending on how much you have installed and whatever else is being run at the time). Because we'll have more space, we'll drastically reduce the number of crashes that are experienced by the playerbase as a whole. I would be remiss however in also ignoring some other very important upgrades that come with the change to 64-bit. Our internal tools are going to reap similar benefits that the client does! This will enable us to work faster and thus produce more content in the same amount of time. RIFT 3.7 Preview: RIFT Goes 64 Bit!

While RIFT readies for a public Beta Test of 64 Bit gameplay, RIFT’s Lead Engineer, Dan “Snedhepl” Hollinger gave us more in-depth information about this amazing engineering effort, and why it’s important to all players!

Why the heck should you care about 64 bit?
You may have heard with the announce of RIFT 3.7 Summer Solstice that Rift will release a 64-bit client in the near future. What you may not be aware of is the purpose, practical or otherwise, of this evolution. I'm here to cleanse that particular debuff for you.

Let's talk about what 64-bit means in general.
First up: what is a bit? A bit is either a 0 or 1 and in a computer we use groups of them to represent everything from colors, to your position in space, to what your abilities do. When we’re discussing a 8, 32, or 64 bit system, what we’re talking about is how many bits can the processor operate on at once. Some of the earliest game systems and computers were 8-bit. Eventually they grew to be 16-bit and in the most recent era: 32-bit. These numbers created a number of limits in their systems, most notably memory related but also in terms in the precision and size of processing. For example, in an 8-bit system, it's only possible to represent 255 different numbers. This means that a character could only exist in one of 255 positions horizontally on the screen and that we'd only be able to access 255 memory locations (assuming no fancy tricks are employed to expand that). Additionally, we'd only be able to access 255 locations in memory (RAM). That is pretty restrictive! Luckily as we increase the number of bits we get a significant amount of additional space. A 16-bit system can represent 65535 numbers! 32-bit? 4,294,267,295!

4,294,267,295 certainly seems like a lot...but is it?
For modern day computers, 4,294,267,295 translates to 4 gigabytes. And while that's quite a lot of memory for many cases, it's also not enough for many modern games. There’s a lot more we can do with RIFT, or handle better, with the ability to use more memory. This includes the beautiful textures, models and other art that already exists as well as what we have planned for the future. It includes data we house in RIFT that references things like characters, abilities, friends and the like. While these things individually may not be a big deal, when taken together they very quickly add up. 64-bit would give us access to 16 exabytes (or 16 million gigabytes). Of course there's no hardware currently that would allow anyone to take full advantage of that much space. But what the conversion to 64 bit does change is that instead of being software limited to 4 gigs, instead we're only limited by how much RAM is installed into any given machine.

Ok, so this means RIFT-64 will be able to use more memory, and we'll be able to add more art over time and that's all great, but what benefits will that get me today?
The answer to that is quite simple and can be summed up in a single word: "stability." While RIFT typically does not use up all of its 4 gigabytes of memory, it can get to that point over longer play sessions. We've waged war on crashes for some time now; out of memory errors are the number one and two sources of crashes - and occasionally number three as well! When 64-bit comes out, the game will suddenly have access to at least 8 gigabytes of RAM in most cases (depending on how much you have installed and whatever else is being run at the time). Because we'll have more space, we'll drastically reduce the number of crashes that are experienced by the playerbase as a whole.

I would be remiss however in also ignoring some other very important upgrades that come with the change to 64-bit. Our internal tools are going to reap similar benefits that the client does! This will enable us to work faster and thus produce more content in the same amount of time.

All in all, the 64-bit era of Rift is going to bring more stability and beautiful art to the worlds of Telara... and that’s always a good thing!

Quality of Life improvements: How about those Summer Interns!

It's summer time, which means: Interns!

Here are some quality of life (non game impacting) improvements I'd like to see:

1) Give us the option to turn off our achievement notifications from being sent to our guild chat.

2) Fix "Living Energy" to not fall off on death.

3) When a group or raid member enters an instance, and we decline the teleport, and then we LEAVE the group or raid, have the instance icon removed from under the minimap. Right now it persists until log off.

Quality of Life improvements: How about those Summer Interns!

Give us current level, interactive ways of making money

Why is it that the largest sources of platinum in the game are from old content and largely passive activities like minions? Other than selling things to other players, most of us seem to be maintaining our platinum stockpile through old raids. Daily quests have become far less efficient compared to Storm Legion, as porticulum costs have quadrupled and quest rewards have not significantly improved. Chronicles are repetitive (especially since solo queuing only gives you ONE option) and not that time efficient.

I'm personally an outlier, since most of my money is inherited from old friends, but if we look at only actual platinum generators, most of my money has been from farming the four easily solo'd level 50 raids and fishing.

Could we please have better ways of generating platinum that involve current level activities that actually require player interaction? Here are some ideas:

  • Master mode current level dungeons that have level restricted daily quests that award large amounts of platinum
  • Give Storm Legion and normal dungeon random queues charges (which automatically mentor you) large platinum rewards. This would also really help lower level players.

The largest platinum generators in an MMO shouldn't be old content, bots farming hide, minions and giant cash piles from fish botting in vanilla/storm legion.

Hi everyone,

Knowing it from another game, how about adding the option for everyone to vote for the MVP after a raid or warfront? You can ofc not vote for yourself.

The MVP gets a small extra reward.

I think this would help making the community better, as helping others and playing exceptionally good may give extra rewards.

What do you think about that?

How is this intended.

Disclaimer: I didn't bother to censor anyone's names ect, because I'm not trying to start a witchhunt. This needs to be fixed and this video is to prove a point. If I have to do raids correctly, you should have to PvP correctly.

Also grats to Jego for picking off some kills.

If anyone doesn't know what is going on here. These players are oneshoting people on the other faction who have mentored down to level 10 so they can completely their PvP kill weekly in a few minutes where it normally takes a day or two to do via warfronts.

So, this means we're free to extend enrage by going ranged from the boss after 7 mins so the boss stops doing mechanics? Can we do this during the entire course of the fight aswell?

Also, is it allowed to ranged tank Enigma on Arisen Arak so he doesnt do the pull ins? The spot on the far left side locking at the main boss, down the slope.

I would appreciate a proper answer on this, considering i don't want to get in "trouble".

One hour or three hours...?

I used to have a boss like that: whenever a scheduled downtime was approaching of the nuclear power plants where I worked, he had to write a procedure which we had to follow to the letter, on how it affected our department and the tests we had conduct in order to ensure a smooth shutdown/maintenance/powerup. He always made a fool of himself doing it, and we had a lot of fun tracking down all the copy/paste errors in the written procedure.

Back in the old days of Classic Rift, as I am sure many old timers like myself will remember, everyone was pretty enthousiastic when it came to Trion as a develloper. The smooth launch of the game (compared to many others), how they handled stuff, the quality of the game, etc... caused a lot of happy faces in our guild (Imperium).
How much has changed since that time, eh?

How to spawn tyrant and 5k?

The 5 Khans are always there in the same locations in world map you just need to find them as it shows on your quest waypoint ( their name is yellow so unless you don't atttck them they won't do anythign to you). Tyrant instead you need to spawn: go to location and kill 2 or 3 ( 2 works usuallys) Sacrifical beasts with yellow name and boss icon in the portrait and Tyrant will show up afterwards, you will hear like a quake and there he is

RIFT 3.6: Hotfix #14 6/29/2016

At the moment we have to check through the website, but there's a big button in the rift store where you can buy patron time so why not include current patron plan and time remaining on the same tab? There's a big empty space in the upper right quadrant of that tab anyway, so it's not like you'd need to change the layout to insert the extra information, and it'd be directly adjacent to the buy buttons so it might even increase conversion.

Share-able skins

So the ability to collect items appearances have been great and have really changed the way everyone looks being able to dress to impress.

Though I have one sligh issue when it comes to collecting these appearances and that would be mostly raid loot and or just random stuff we want to share.

So to get to my point I think it would be amazing if we could share weapon/armor skins with other players without having to trade the items. lets say you win an item in a raid on zaviel and want to share said items with a friend in the raid but they are froma different shard. Yeah sure mght not be a problem if the raid is composed of 50/50 from each shard but lets say theya re not and 1-2 are from different shards.

They would get left out obviously especially if its a wardrobe run.

So how about it? make it possible to share skins? Obviously you can make shop skins unshare-able but I mean the rest it wouldnt really hurt would it?

Is this the new EU Patch time?

So for the past three weeks in a row EU is getting patched at the same time as NA instead of it's usual 1am GMT on a Thursday morning.

Now all the changes for past three weeks had a few changes to raids like Comet and MoM fixes, seeing as EU players don't raid other than Wednesday evenings i assume the current hotfix time was to accommodate that

Is this the new patch time though? seems inconvenient to patch EU mid afternoon when there's a lot more people playing then than at 1am on a Thursday.

So in other words:

The leaderboard is not as bug free as we believe and is no evidence.

As long as you don`t stream or publish a video of your kill you can exploit as much as you want because investigating this stuff brings no money and cost time.

Don`t let yourself catch by a dev, but with Anony gone this possibility seems not so high.

So if the next content is again this buggy we just all have to stop stream
In the end we not clarified the exploit but how you can exploit without punishment

How can I make plat?

I'm stressed by this. There aren't really many things that I need, but greaters are super expensive, and I tried doing old raids, did 4 of them GBS, Phoenix, Drawned Halls and Prophecy and only got 286. Weren't the old raids giving like 400 plat?

I was hoping to pay Patron this way, but I wouldn't make enough money if I need 3k for a sub.

Are there any other ways to make money? Farming sucks, there aren't really any good spots, and you don't get that much as before in SL.

COA Locks - T2 and T3

Hi all,

I would suggest the following:

1) If you run COA as ez mode from boss 1 on it locks you to t2 CoA and leaves you able to run T3 CoA.

This would allow me to run my normal CoA and also go in and help our training group - it would do us much better than 2 locks to RoF a week.

2) This could also be done with IGP HM and IGP normal mode.

Achievement - The Spartan Approach - IGP - Thalguur

Hey all, and devs! I am thinking this achievement might be broken? It is the one called The Spartan Approach within IGP!

This requires you to kill Thalguur with ZERO deaths and to leave over 30 crystals+. Have tried this for the past couple of weeks with strong groups and no one ever picked up a crystal at the last phase (at least 30+) and even left some over from the stage before and no one ever died.

Is this one broken? I asked/petitioned it from the GM's but they said they could not check on this one for some reason and to bug report it. I thought I would post it here first to see if anyone has gotten it and/or if they have done it, petitioned it, and got credit? Thanks!

I've been keeping an eye on the LOTRO forums as they have a raid coming up. But... the PTS testers have uncovered some bugs and asked them to delay the launch. Yesterday the community manager made this post:

"Based on direct player feedback, we are delaying the launch of Update 18.2 while we address some issues found with our upcoming raid. The new launch date will be announced as soon as we have resolved these issues."

I would just like something even if it is as vague as we are looking at worfront issues brought to our attention by the community. I dont think stateing that your at least looking into it will have any detremental effects. Please just let us know that our voices are being heard.

  • 64-Bit Performance: Multicore brought the speed, but 64-bit code will truly bring RIFT to the next level! The 64-bit Alpha begins in July, bringing significantly improved performance and even more stability.
  • New Player Improvements - Guilds: New RIFT players will automatically be placed into a starter guild. These new starter guilds are locked at Level 5, serving as a perfect launching point to help players enter established guilds as they level up their characters and make friends. Characters will also be able to create a guild with a single character; multiple signatures are no longer required.
  • Dungeon Veterans: Characters that complete a dungeon five times will become a veteran of that dungeon. Veterans that run a dungeon with at least one other non-veteran grants a 15% bonus to currency, reputation, tokens, and experience earned.

Update 3.7: Summer Solstice Is Coming This July!

The weather is heating up, and so is Telara with the next major update for RIFT!

Summertime is about more than just catching some rays at the beach and enjoying a good barbeque with friends; it’s about slaying some monsters! You’ve got plenty to look forward to this summer: celebrating with your fellow Ascended, checking out brand-new improvements to classic souls, and experiencing our next big technical milestone: the 64-bit upgrade!

  • Summer of Souls: Several classic souls are getting a makeover, complete with new buffs, abilities, and build synergies. We’ll be starting things off with the Elementalist, Druid, Berserker, and Warlord at Update 3.7’s launch, but we also have plans to update 3 more souls later in the season.
  • Summerfest: The Plane of Life once again bursts forth with all its bounty as Summerfest returns! This year’s additions include a hoard of incredible new rewards, like artifact Piñatas and one of the most requested outfits in all of RIFT – Alsbeth’s Raiment!
