Ways to drain plat out so prices go back down cause even passive plat generation is freakign ridiuclous nowadays compared to spending.
Rules:
1. Must have continuous use. For examples of this, look at NPC craft mats, porticulum fees, and soul repairs. The plat drain must be something that can be done consistently, or at least for a relatively long game duration.
2. The suggestion can't break the game. Should be obvious. No "pay X for 150% increased damage" or other similar shenanigans. Basically no advantage that can only be obtained by paying.
I'll start off.
I'll collect the suggestions in this post under this line:
-----------------------------
1. X Fee to convert dropped pieces into another similar quality piece. IE, T1 gloves belts, boots can be converted to each other for say 2.5k plat per. Scaling up based on gear, up to 10k for weapons T1. Numbers are illustrative only.
2. Exuberant plat price for outdated store gear, say 7.5k-20k for T1 gloves all the way to T1 weapons. Because the people paying credits would still pay credits anyways while those with the plat to burn can now do that.Trion has already received money for REX, so it's not really cutting into their profits. Because those with huge plat but no credits won't be picking up REX for gear any more, REX prices will also decrease thus allowing other players to buy and move REX at faster paces.
3. Convert Plat to guild Exp at a 1 plat to guild exp rate. For those forming new guilds who want to get their perks fast but have a low but wealthy player base.
4. Raid Buffs Dimension Dispenser. Pay 300p for 2 weeks of having all raid buffs active in Dimension within 50m of dropped location for accurate parsing on Live.
5. Rent-a-Mount: Pay X price to rent a mount that you want for Y number of days Say 2k for a month of renting Pink Budgie or something. Don't let rentals affect achievements and attach achieve to the rare mounts to increase collection urges.
6. Building on Rent-a-Mount, Rent Amphibious capabilities: Pay X a month to make all your viable mounts be amphibious.
