Prevent store item claiming too early in starter zones

Imagine you have a new player who just created a new account, bought a couple of credit packs and got a bunch of loyalty.

That player then creates a new character and gets heaps of claimable items.

Some of these items they can't even use until they get their first dimension (many levels away). And some items like rune unsocketing apparatus probably shouldn't even be needed until at max level.

When unpacked, the gifts could quickly fill the starter backpack.

Suggestions
To make the starting areas more new player friendly I propose any or all of the following:

1. Prevent loyalty bundles/items from being claimed while in the starter zones, either entirely or just ones that "unpack" into multiple items.
2. Prevent the store window from appearing in the starter zones and introduce it (and the claim system) through a tutorial once the starter zone is complete.
3. Prevent the daily calendar from appearing in the starter zones (it could appear once the starter zone is complete )
4. If in the starting zone or with "small" bags/low bag space, warn the player that their bag may become too full and prevent the item from being claimed/opened.

The above may be modified if the account already has an existing character.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
