Although I'm posting this in hopes of finding a guild, please note that at this time, I'm not even active in the game. If I find a good guild, I'd be up for returning to the game-- the guild would be a motivator. If you think I need to be active in the game first before finding a guild... well, then please feel free to scroll on by, and we probably won't speak again. Otherwise, read on.
ADDENDUM: The forum machine ABSOLUTELY refused to post this message unless I selected a specific server, but NOTE the subject line, NOT JUST FAEBLIGHT. Details below.

I haven't played RIFT in two years. Only one of my toons has touched Nightmare Tide leveling content, if that gives you any idea. I realize I might have to re-learn the entire game from the ground up, as it seems a number of souls and builds have drastically changed.
I'm on the Faeblight server, but I'm willing to consider server swapping to any PVE server (sorry, no PVP servers), and I'd even consider starting all brand new toons from scratch.
The guilds I'm in, on Faeblight, have undergone severe attrition, and from what I understand, struggle just to bring forth enough members to run a dungeon or two. They used to be raiding guilds, but I've heard that all raiding in RIFT is now badly borked, almost to the point of being untenable.
Fortunately, I was never much of a raider in RIFT. I hardly even did dungeons and would have to learn them. My interests, outside of story quests and leveling, include rifts and zone events of all kinds (I chased after them regularly before), the occasional IA's, crafting (I had all professions covered among my toons), and I dabbled in dimension building, although unfortunately I wasn't very good at it, and I ran into a couple of problems with raw building blocks that made it very difficult to build a proper looking home out of them. Of course, that WAS at least two years ago, and it's very likely that building tools and materials have improved a lot since then.
If raiding in RIFT is ever fixed and becomes a major activity in the game again, of course I'd be willing to try it; I was just never a real raider before.
I prefer playing the support role but can also do melee and ranged dps, and under the right conditions, I'm willing to learn to tank effectively. Sorry, I'm never really a good healer *shrugs* It's the one thing I just can't seem to get the hang of.
I like all the main callings, although my primalist is still a baby. Let me find a good home and I'll see about leveling her.
My cleric and rogue are Guardians, while my mage, warrior and primalist are Defiant. I like both faction story arcs, although I feel the Defiants have a definite story edge in zones like Stillmoor.
I was really big on the storyline of RIFT, although it tended to come in bite-size pieces and was difficult to piece together, and as there aren't many fan sites available, it was hard to do any reading.
Here are a few things about me:
I'm a 50 y/o woman living on the US East Coast. I have a disability, and my lifestyle is pretty isolated, although I do go to RL activities and the like-- I'm generally not available on Tuesdays, most Thursdays, and some Fridays (yes, I know I'm posting this message on a Tuesday; it's a super-rare exception to an otherwise set-in-stone rule hahaha). Thursday and Friday I get home around 9:30 to 10:00 pm Eastern Time and can play a little while, afterward. I like almost all sorts of multi player games, although I'm not good at shooters, particularly first-person ones.
Although I live on the East Coast, I would really, really prefer a guild that has a lot of WEST Coast players. I tend to be up late most nights (not entirely by choice, but that's another story), and the more people that go to bed at 11 pm to 12 midnight EASTERN time, the more likely I am to be in game all alone afterward. A guild where there are more people around until 11 pm to 12 midnight PACIFIC time, the more likely I am to find people to do something with even at those late hours.
I build my own rig and have all the major VOIP clients except Discord. I can't wear headsets comfortably for more than a short period of time, so I prefer to type rather than talk, but I can listen to your heart's content. I can type around 80 wpm when I put my mind to it.
You can reply to this thread or leave me a private message, and then I can give an email address I have set up for discussing matters like this.
