CoA Itemization - Itemization in General

I honestly don't know where to begin with this, it's going to focus mostly on general Itemization but some CoA items need looked into as well. Itemization all through MoM and CoA has been quite terrible.

CoA Weapon Procs
I don't mind getting instant procs on epic weapons without having to put in the effort doing HMs but I'm talking more for the healers that suffer for it. While DPS items can easily be sidegraded to tank, healer's have to upgrade to relic via Tower Sigils before they can get a heal proc. This turns people away. The weapons heal upgrade path should be changed to an epic path similar to the tank path via Fragments of the Broken Pantheon.

CoA Weapon Drops
I could be completely wrong here but our guild has two groups that full clear CoA every week and I see the same pattern. Fionn drops relics for certain classes, while other classes only get epics from other bosses. I don't mind this design much because both versions need to be upgraded to get the max stats but that means HM progression, so in the meantime those that get the relic version already have more power over those that got epic versions. Either Fionn should drop relics for all classes or not drop weapons at all.

Item Upgrade Costs
This has been talked about before and I'm not going to go into raiding costs in this game. That topic has already been covered.

I can see why upgrading to a relic can cost a relic amender but switching between different versions of the same item should not be so costly. Vendor items that upgrade to relic are already less than appealing for players to want. Once upgraded to relic, we are still required to spend two relic amenders in case we need to swap stats around.

Even if it's relic, it should cost no more than an epic amender. This affects weapons as well. Swapping between dps and healing procs. It's bad enough the CoA weapons need to be upgraded just to get a healing proc.

Dropped Item Stats
We have an overabundance of dropped gear that can be classified as "useless". Though most newer players will simply take what they can get. Some of the veteran players end up farming bosses for months before getting the item they are after. This mostly applies to accessories but it affects armour as well. Gear that we need, in most our cases is Crit Power or Guard, currently in MoM all Guard gear is sidegraded from Crit Power. Meanwhile most of the other gear Power or Crit, is quite useless to tanks as it sidegrades to block or dodge. Crit is useless to some classes, leaving us with AP/SP as the go to after CP has been capped.

What I'm trying to say is that if the dropped item is not CP, it's mostly useless. This is more an issue of how stats work in the game and could probably be revised but it hurts when you can't even sidegrade the items to tank and be usefull. This kind of changed in CoA where some accessories sidegrade differently but for the most part Armour and Weapons are the same.

Trinkets
I'm sure many of you are sick of waiting for your trinket to drop, with only 1 chance per week in MoM and 2 chances during t2. It's really annoying that 75% of the trinket drops have healing procs. Since the launch of MoM our guild has only seen ONE tanking trinket from Arak. We still have players that need dps Trinkets and I'm pretty sure everyone in the guild has gotten a healing trinket by now.

Trinkets should have sidegrade options so we're not waiting on RnG to be good to us. We're guaranteed a Trinket and the player can choose whether it's DPS, Heals or Tank.

Relics
Relics in this game have lost their meaning over time. I'm sick of being able to get relics without even defeating the last boss in a raid. I wasn't around much at the start of Nightmare Tide but from Hammernkell to MoM and even during Storm Legion we have been able to get relics for doing nothing. Relics should be exclusive to the last boss. We shouldn't be able to get a drop from an easy boss in a 20man than go do a 10man and upgrade it to relic. That's too damn easy.

CoA Current Itemization Issues
~ Primalist weapon from Fionn is fully upgraded, there is an upgrade path but upgrading it gives no further stat increase.
~ There are two different Rogue 1-handers, an AP Relic and the CP Epic, Both have the same proc and share a cooldown. I believe the warrior 1-handers share the same problem although there is a 2-hander for warrriors available.
~ To get a healing proc, we have to use tower sigils, while dps and tanks can get procs for free.

I'll add more to this later but this is all I have so far. Itemization needs to be looked into.
