Question about weapons

Now I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if RNG is just trolling me. With two of my wife's and my characters we just upgraded to warmonger main weapons from the nightmare saga weapons. This meant straight DPS increase, hit increase, and overall stat increase. Now this should mean higher DPS.... right.

However I have done multiple 3 min+ parses on the 67 raid boss dummies, and all of them are showing higher numbers on the Nightmare saga weapons. Looking at the break down of the skills and their % dmg, it looks like the higher numbers are just on basic skills, and not the proc. Icefall on my primalist shows 3% of my dps, while the manifest nightmares is only 1%, which should mean higher... but over all is lower with the warmonger.

Is it maybe my DPS addon is out of date, I am using simple meter.
