Either shorten the range to more acceptable levels of say 20m instead of 35 like a full range character has, since they are MELEE TANKS. NOT RANGE TANKS.
Or disable it entirely in pvp, as it actually has no place in pvp itself. Its a pve skill used to initiate fights, and save other people's bacon from pve monsters.
Its currently being abused by players jumping over edges/holes, and pulling people off of places from ranges they should not have. Line of sight doesn't matter a bit when it comes to its use. All you need is a target. I've been pulled through the ground to the tank, with not only a elevation height to my advantage, but also a huge rock wall blocking line of sight. This crap needs to end. Developers, get off your bloody lazy arse, and get it fixed. I had a tank in whats that new craptastic warfront that ends in ties 90% of the time, under the platform where the crystal is that opens up the area to the 2nd passage. Course, you'd think yeah, their on the ground level running around. But despite that, getting range pulled into the aoe fire on the upper level by someone BELOW me with no LINE OF SIGHT. Yeah. Way to go developers.
Break more stuff why don't ya. You do get paid for it too. Idiots.
On a side note, 4 months have passed since the griffin pet went into the game for rogue rangers. The animations that cause the bug, to cause all rogue pets to become completely inactive is still in the game. There's been no update to fix this since its initial release. Why?
